Good or Bad?

How do you determine whether something is good or bad? Most people would say how it makes them feel. If something makes you happy or gets you something you want, it must be good, right? Well, answer me this: To determine if something is good, I think we would agree that it depends on the circumstances, the situation, and the consequences. Well what if it didn't? Here's a revelation for you, it doesn't! All things good or evil are determined by God. Why is it that we feel we have the power to identify such things? We did not create them, and we certainly do not know them nearly as well as Him. So how do we know what is good and what is evil, you ask? Pray. Get to know your Creator and He will make things much more clear to you. He will reveal the Truth. Okay, that's all my preachin' for the night(;

10%

We give God 10% of the money we earn. That's called the tithe and anything above that is offering. What if we gave God 10% of our trust? Do you have any idea what He could do with just ten percent of our trust? More than what we can do on our own, that's for sure. God asks us to put all of our trust in Him, but He understands that it is difficult to do that all at once. So start small if you need to. If all you think you can afford is 10% right now, start with that. If you let God keep that small amount of trust, He will use it to grow your relationship with Him. Over time and through prayer, He will reveal Himself to you and hopefully you will feel that you can trust Him more and more throughout that time.

what's yours?

I'm not an athete.
I'm not in the band.
I don't have expensive clothes or a big house.
I'm smart, but not the smartest.
I don't wear dark makeup or dress in solid black.
I'm just a girl.
I cry when I'm hurt.
I smile when I'm happy.
I pout when I'm angry.
I jump when I'm excited.
But I'm not just a girl.
I have a story, just like you.
It's not like yours or anyone else's.
Everyone has a story, find yours.
Live it, love it, share it.
